Septenary Winery at Seven Oaks Farm

Opened in December 2017, Septenary Winery at Seven Oaks Farm sits on a 109-acre estate just 15 minutes west of Charlottesville. The estate is a Virginia Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The vineyard on the estate includes a little over 7 acres of mature vines, including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Syrah, and Viognier. The winery also has access to some 26 acres of vineyards in Essex County, near the Rappahannock River. The owners, both UVa grads, have worked hard to preserve the history and natural beauty of the estate. They are excited to share their vision with all of those who visit the winery or drink their wine.
