Savor Charlottesville with the Cville Food Tour
With warmer weather finally approaching, this is the perfect time to get outdoors before the heat takes over. Combine a good walk with a food tour in a fun location, and you’ve got yourself a memorable outing.
The Cville Food Tour in Charlottesville, Virginia takes you on a three-hour adventure to indulge in local food and drink at six to eight different restaurant and retailers along the Charlottesville Downtown Mall. You’ll sample Belgian chocolates, artisan cheese, cappuccino, gelato, spicy tempo shrimp, and a whole lot more. (Is your mouth watering? It should be.) These tours cover about a mile and a half of ground with different sorts of terrain, so it’s definitely not the time to break out the dress shoes and stiletto heels. You’ll have opportunities to sit down, but be sure to bring your walking shoes.
So, how about vegetarians and gluten-free guests? Have no fear; as long as you let the tour know of your dietary restrictions in advance, they’ll be happy to accommodate you. And speaking of contacting the tour in advance, the number of guests is set at a maximum of ten, and since these tours fill up fast, you’ll want to make your reservations in advance. (When you do, don’t forget to book your room at Afton Mountain B&B, so that you have somewhere to return to and relax after your foodie fun.)
