Restoration Restaurant, Crozet, VA
With its stunning views, its friendly atmosphere, and its array of lunch and dinner options, it’s no wonder that Restoration in Crozet has become such a popular eatery since its opening in May of 2013. (They were even recently nominated for several categories of “Best of C-VILLE 2014,” including Best Restaurant, Best Outdoor Dining, and Best Burger.) If you’re looking to try out a “country casual” restaurant with local ingredients, an emphasis on community, and close proximity to a fantastic golf course, then chefs William Lunsford and Rick Ridge invite you to give them a try.
For lunch, order yourself a serving of clam chowder, shrimp & grits, or a stuffed Portobello burger, then indulge in a slice of dark chocolate bourbon cake. For dinner, you’ve got the option of everything from chicken & waffles to the steak house marinated ribeye to the BBQ salmon. Pair your meal with a local beer on tap or a glass of Virginia wine, and then finish off with a bite of pumpkin cheesecake (with eggnog whipped cream) or a sugar & spice sundae.
Restoration has established a relationship with several different local providers. This includes fresh, organic bread from Goodwin Creek Farm and Bakery, gouda from Our Lady of the Angels (a Trappist monastery in Crozet), mushrooms from a.m.Fog, ice cream from Homestead Creamery in Wirtz, VA, and maple syrup from Highland County, VA.
