New Year's Eve Masked Ball at Veritas Vineyard and Winery
New Year’s Eve is all about new beginnings and celebrating the possibilities of the upcoming year; another trip around the sun, and great things to come in the New Year. Julius Caesar dedicated New Year's Day to Janus, the Roman god of new beginnings. His two faces allowed him to see in the past and future at the same time. Although we may not be able to see the future like Janus, we still celebrate the possibility that the New Year brings.
It all starts at 7 PM with wine and yummy hors-d'oeuvre. That's followed by a delicious five-course wine-paired winemaker’s dinner in the vineyard’s Saddleback Hall. After dancing and champagne, enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet starting at 12:30 AM. So bring your masquerade mask and start a New Year’s tradition in Afton, where you can reflect on the past year and party into the new one. Order your Masked Ball tickets from Veritas here.
Rooms at Afton Mountain B&B over the New Year's holiday go fast. So whether you’re planning to celebrate at the Masked Ball or planning a quiet, romantic getaway, be sure to book your room in advance.
