Keswick Vineyard’s Eats & Beats
“Wine is all about taste, smell and atmosphere, so what better way to enjoy great Virginia wine than with some delightful Eats & Beats at Keswick Vineyards!” (VirginiaWine.org). As the name suggests, Keswick Vineyard’s Eats & Beats is an event chock full of wine tasting, local food vendors, and live music to accompany your culinary and vinous indulgences.
Let’s check out a few of the musicians and vendors that this local vineyard event will be offering over the next few months:
August 1: Big Gavel is an Acoustic Variety Band that delights with a range of genres—country, Americana, rock, soul, and more. As you’re enjoying their toe-tapping numbers, grab a bite to eat from Morsel Compass, a food truck with everything from Baja Beer Battered Cod Fish Tacos to Grilled Chicken, Asiago, and Spinach Sausage on a floured tortilla.
August 29: Darcy Dawn and Company is a DC-based band with a talented sound that reflects Adele, One Republic, and Jack Johnson. Accompanying the music is Piedmont Smokehouse with a delicious offering of mouthwateringly juicy BBQ.
October 3: Hailing from North Carolina, Matt Phillips will present his array of funk, blues, soul, and modern pop, an eclectic mix that works under his talent. Feast on fare from Big Easy Metro Market, a mobile kitchen with a rotating menu of gumbo, barbecue, and more.
October 24: Jon Spear has toured as both a solo act and a part of several different East Coast rocks bands. He now brings his talent to Keswick Vineyards’ Eats & Beats. And while the beat goes on, indulge in some Delicious Dishe’s “southern food with a twist.”
