Garden Flowers with Foxie Morgan Workshop at Pharsalia
If you’re a regular reader of our blog posts, you may remember us mentioning Pharsalia in the past. This historic plantation was constructed in 1814 by war veteran Major Thomas Massie, and has remained in the Massie family to this day. The building and its grounds are more than just a beautiful spectacle; they also play house to a number of fun, mostly plant-themed event such as the upcoming Garden Flowers with Foxie Morgan Workshop.
“Come pick and play with flowers and learn how Foxie has learned to relax and enjoy arranging flowers. Bring friends or family for an afternoon of flowers and fun!” Your instructor, Foxie Morgan, is certainly no stranger to flowers. As Pharsalia’s grower, she cultivates both native and specialty blooms that are used as everything from bridal bouquets to home décor. (Trivia: Foxie is the great-great granddaughter of Major Thomas Massie as well as a member of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers.)
