2. Brewery Brunch: Treat your dad to some award-winning craft brew and good eats Blue Mountain Brewing Company or Wild Wolf Brewing Company. Father’s Day brunch at Blue Mountain will also be followed by live music from 2:30 to 5. And if your dear dad can’t make it to Wild Wolf, take some of the brewery home in a Wild Wolf Gift Bucket.

3. A round of Golf at one of our area's several fantastic courses:  Old Trail Golf Club offers incredible views of the Blue Ridge, with a professional course featuring bent grass greens and zoysia fairways. Nearby Wintergreen Resort provides 2 distinct courses: Devil's Knob is the highest golf course in Virginia, with an elevation of 3800 feet. It's sister course, Stoney Creek, offers an award-winning, contemporary 27-hole layout. And Swannanoa Golf and Country Club provides an idyllic green for your dad to enjoy. It's vistas sweep along beneath the mountains of the Shenandoah Valley and the Piedmont.

4. Trail Ride & Wine Tasting: Ever wanted to stroll into a winery on the back of a horse. Well, now you can! We have two local companies that offer trail rides along some of the most picturesque lands in the country, all leading to a tasting of award-winning Virginia wine. Rebel's Run @ Afton Mountain offers your choice three different trail rides: valley, summit, and winery (which includes a tasting at beautiful Afton Mountain Vineyards). Indian Summer Guide Service offers trail rides to a variety of local wineries so your dad or husband can choose his favorite.
